Update Time not Working

For quite some time -- pre-dating the current ForecastFox "fiasco" -- the Update Time (Options) parameter has stopped working (as well, manually initiating an update no longer works). 

Is this unique to my installation (Chromium and Firefox browsers), or is it also true for others (users/browsers)?

My update time not working since September 10th.  Reinstalled did not help.

I see the same on Firefox and Chrome.
