Anyone else have the date off by one day ahead?

Hello all,

Am not sure if anyone else is having this issue, but after updating the Ext in Chrome from 4.26 to the latest one, everything worked great, but for whatever reason any place the chronological date was listed, it is off by one day a head.

In other words, for a day if it is written as a word it is correct, as in if today is Thursday, and tomorrow is Friday, that is correct and in all the places you would see that. An all the predicted weather data is right for those days too.

But for like example for any place its listed as a Calander date in numbers, such as today is 10/30/25...its showing instead today is 10/31/25, and tomorrow is 11/01/25, and so on.

Saw this was the case right off but let it stay installed over night to see if move forward a day, and it did that correctly.

Then this morning I tried removing the Ext and let it reinstall on its own from nothing and it's still the same.

Decided in the end to go back to 4.26 and its back to being correct again.

As such I think less that it's something with my system, but as I can't rule that out I thought I would ask if anyone else is seeing the same.

Or is yours correct?

Hello Oleksandr and thanks for getting back so soon.

To do this I had to remove 4.26 and install 5.1 again, so it took me a bit..and of course for whatever reason it did not do as I described, at least exactly as now it's a day behind.

As such I have uploaded a shot of 4.26 which is the correct one with today's date of 10/30/25, and then one after installing ver 5.1, which is showing the date for today as 10/29/25.

Thanks for the idea and at first, I thought this fixed this for me too, but then noticed that every day was being shown as 10/30/2025

I then tried putting in 01/01/2025, and that's what showed up everywhere.

My guess is that by putting in directly there and that way...that is why it's doing that and not because its fixed or is working as a work around.

I played around with a few other options too, but nothing fixed it.

So I don't know if that is the same for you Coot Master.

To note I worked with a few direct mails back and forth with Oleksandr on this and I think said he knows what the issue is, so is probably working on a fix.

All Sounds good, am sure you guys will be able to figure it all out.

As mentioned, it still is not working for me and below are a few screen shots of what I mean.

Also something else to mention that is odd on this while the popup is blocking it in these grabs, the date and time info to the right of the custom option below is always correct, just is wrong in places like I have highlighted.

This option is for setting the format of the displayed date!

You can use date format rules and any text in any combination.

Example below:

Mine isn't working at all. Still has connect issues even when it says my city/state. Like the old version new version is broke.

Is the fix still being worked on? Been 3 days since last post.

Thanks greatly Oleksandr,

Can confirm the date for me is now working correctly.

As well the zip code search is working.

Interestingly too and don't know if this was a thing, or the just the way I have things setup, but upon opening Chrome it automatically updated to the 5.2 version and gave me the thank you page with the notes I am used to seeing for that.

Am just mentioning as when I had the old 4.26 version installed it would never do this, so I always had to go the link you provided and install your new version manually.
