I have forecastfox displaying only the "current conditions". When I
click on that, I'd like to be taken to an extended forecast page on a
website of my choice. Is it possible to specify what URL I'm taken to?
Please say yes; that AccuWeather page is pretty useless.

Thanks.

What site would you prefer to be directed to? AccuWeather currently maintains a dedicated data feed for us, which is no easy feat since we have millions of users. In exchange for this, we don't send people to other sites.

They actually released a completely redesigned version of the site a week or so ago. How do you like it? What parts do you like or dislike? How would you change it? I can send the feedback directly to them!

Thanks for your support

There's just not enough information on the AccuWeather "Detailed
Current Conditions" page. If I could be directed to a location's main
page, where a forecast is included, I'd be happy. The new site's
layout is ever better for this. Could it be made the default
destination upon clicking the current conditions area in the status
bar?

I'd appreciate it.

Good ideas-- could you send me a link to an example page you're referring to? I'm wondering exactly which page would be the location's main page.

Thanks

Here's an example: http://www.accuweather.com/en-us/NAM/US/OR/Portland/Quick-Look.aspx

Oh, sorry. It looks like you sent the quick look page from
AccuWeather's international site, whereas we link to the quick look
page from their US site.

For comparison, here is the one we currently link to, which is the
quick look page on their US site:

http://www.accuweather.com/us/or/portland/97200/forecast-current-conditions.asp
(And here's the one you sent:
http://www.accuweather.com/en-us/NAM/US/OR/Portland/Quick-Look.aspx )

It has information similar to the one you sent, but I think it looks a
bit better. What are your thoughts?

Thanks

Sorry, I was just using Portland as an example. I didn't realized US
locales are sent to a different version of the site. Here's what I see
when I click current conditions:
http://www.accuweather.com/world-forecast-current-conditions.asp?partner=forecastfox&zipcode=NAM|CA|BC|VANCOUVER|&metric=1

It's a pretty lame page compared to what US users are seeing. This
would be a lot better: http://www.accuweather.com/en-us/NAM/CA/BC/Vancouver/Quick-Look.aspx

For some reason they're still designating it as a beta version of
their international site. I found it by clicking on the promo banner
they have up. Looks ready to me.

Ah- I agree, that page is a lot better. We receive the links from
AccuWeather, so I'll ask them to update it in the feed!

Thanks
