Hi All,

I'm preparing to release Forecastfox 2.2. This updates the extension to be compatible with the latest Firefox nightly builds, and also makes some changes to solve some of the "forecastfox disappearing" problems. Could you please give it a spin and see if you run into any problems?

PS, do you get "This Connection is Untrusted" errors when clicking the link? You can just use http instead of https as well.

Thanks!

Works perfectly - The only thing missing is the maxVersion-Entry ("2.12a1") for SeaMonkey in install.rdf.

Thanks!

I think the best way to see this fixed is to contribute in translations :p

Radar location is an Accuweather thing, at least here in the US. I have been in  contact with them, they replied: there is not currently any way to change the default settings.

Thanks I'll take a look at the seamonkey section.

the link beside you name is not working.

Is there a way to custom edit the data that is displayed for current?
Like to add the humidity at least?

2.2 seems to be operating ok for me.

What link isn't working? Could you file bugs and feature requests here:

Thanks!

I filed a bug for having a custom radar per location. I don't think I'll make it in this release, as I'm focusing on Firefox 15 compatibility and the problem where Foreastfox disappears.

I posted a small update that adjusts when the addonbar is visible. If all looks good, I plan on pushing this to Mozilla Addons in a day or two.

Thanks

Have been attempting to find a fis xor FFF in Aurora, Nightly, and
Palemoon. 2.2 is flawless.

I just wish I could have found it sooner. I am subscribed to the mail
and have previously asked about the problem.

In any case thank you for a great product and good support of it,.

Pleased to say it's working on Nightly 16.0a1.

At this time I don't see any issues with it.

Thank you for the update.
It's good go have it back again.

Alas, I still cannot get ForecastFox to appear. Ever since I upgraded FF hasn't shown up. I try dragging the icon to the toolbar, but the only place it wants to go is among the tabs, then when I let go of it nothing happens. I have tried this with the customize toolbar dialog open, I deleted my localstore.rdf. I installed this beta version, all made no difference.

Are there any incompatible addons? I don't have too many at the moment: Ad Block Plus, Down Them All, Tab Mix Plus, IE Tab+, Integrated GMail, Java Quick Starter, LastPass, Restartless Restart, and Tab Mix Plus

I hope I can resolve this issue, as I love this add-on

Hello Jon, I am running the latest Win x86 Nightly build.  The new XPI file fixed all the issues.  (Running Windows 7 Home on x64 Sony VAIO FW.)  Thank you!

Update: I decided to try again and I always have two FireFox windows open. On only one window when I had the toolbar configure dialog & the ForecastFox Options page open, my old status bar appeared on the bottom of the window. This is where I previously had ForecastFox placed. I was then able to move it to another toolbar on top of the screen where it seems to be working perfectly.

I think the new version of FireFox is playing games with the status bar. I hope this helps someone.

If you can't see Forecastfox, how could you drag its icon? I don't think any of those are incompatible, but if you find one that is please let me know.
