The developer is Alexander [Oleksandr] Popov -- https://www.s3blog.org/about.html    He has quite a number of add-ons that he's developed.  He's been pretty responsive, historically, to these problems linking to the weather services before the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Many messages on the Google Group have been "deleted", but I believe Oleksandr's last post, under the subject of "Weather radar not working," in early March 2022, is definitive, and we should wish Oleksandr well, and pray, if you do that sort of thing...  If you're out there, Oleksandr, take great care!!

[Don't forget to check the Google Group archives.  I remember when he said this, and was jolted into reality]

I can not now lead the development of extension, because there is a war in my country.

I had to make several workarounds, and it seems that it brought a positive result :)

PS: Can you ask people to put 5 stars on the extension page?

First, I am glad to hear that you are safe!  I can only imagine what you and your countrymen have gone through the last year.

Second, there are still some issues, both the Firefox and Google Chrome versions of the extension.  I think it has to do with how Accuweather.com treats place names and postal codes. Places with more than one weather station (especially cities with more than one postal code) get no data, but those with just one place name or postal code are fine.  For example, the city where I live - Austin, Texas, USA - has no weather data, and I get a red error.  But if I change it to any of the smaller cities or towns around Austin - Buda, Manor, Elgin, Round Rock, Lakeway - those get weather data. Accuweather may have changed something on their end - not your fault!

Third, one of the folks on the Mozilla ForecastFox forums, DenBar, came up with the following workaround:

While waiting for the developer's fix, just change two URLs in the "content/accuweather-adapter.js" file.
Modify lines 4 and 11 of this file by replacing them with these:
