Same issue here.
This has not been working for months.
Is this a ForecastFox(fix) issue or a Chrome issue?

VERY disturbing and frustrating.

I would think a problem that has been happening for months would get some attention?

I have a workaround for this.
  1. First, go to the ForecastFox Settings page, scroll to the bottom of the settings, and click Save settings. This will save the current settings as a text file. Note the location where you saved the file.
    ForecastFox Settings.png
  2. Open the text file with your favorite text editor.
  3. Search the settings file for "location_list="
  4. If the settings you saved are the defaults, there should be one city in the list, New York, NY, USA
  5. You can follow the formatting of the settings list to add additional cities, or replace New York, NY, USA with your own city.
  6. The city data is as follows:
    [{"name":"Cleveland, OH, USA","code":"cityId:350127","current":true,"rotate":false,"latlng":{"lat":41.4993,"lng":-81.6944}}]
  7. For name, type in the name of the city as you would like it to appear in the ForecastFox icon.
  8. For code, look up the CityID on AccuWeather.com by doing a search for the city you're adding.  The cityID will be part of the URL for the city's weather page.  For example
https://www.accuweather.com/en/us/cleveland/44113/weather-forecast/350127?city=cleveland  <- The cityID for Cleveland, OH, USA is 350127
  9. "current" should be true for only one city in your list.  It is the city that is currently displayed in ForecastFox, if you have more than one, whichever city you want it to be when you first bring it up.
  10. "rotate" is meaningless if you only have one city in your list, but if you have more than one, and "rotate" is set to "true", this will cause the display to switch through the cities.  There are other settings values elsewhere in the settings file that control how frequently the currently viewed city is rotated.
  11. "latlng" is the latitude and longitude of the city.  You can find precise values using Google Maps and paste them into the data.
  12. Save the settings file.
  13. Go back to the Settings page in ForecastFox.
  14. Upload the settings from the saved settings file.
  15. Refresh ForecastFox. If you did everything correctly, the data will update and display the current weather map for the city you set up.
