Hi all!
Forecastfox v5 is now available for installation.

Mozilla Firefox is still showing Forecastfox
version 4.12 which will not load due to it being "corrupt." I'm
on the latest Firefox version on Windows 11.

Confirming that I just installed on Chrome/W11x64
However, don't see how to restore the icon on the lower right corner of a non-google browser screen. Am displaying on the upper toolbar only.

Yes, sorry, I rushed a bit.
I thought it would be an automatic review, but it seems that moderation in Firefox is done manually. I’ll let you know when the update is available in Firefox.

Sorry, but I had to remove Forecastbar (the weather display on all browser tabs).

Chrome users may configure the status of Safe Browsing on the following page: chrome://settings/security
The three options are:
- Enhanced Protection -- Faster, proactive protection against dangerous websites, downloads, and extensions. Warns you about password breaches. Requires browsing data to be sent to Google.
- Standard Protection -- Standard protection against websites, downloads, and extensions that are known to be dangerous.
- No Protection (not recommended) -- Does not protect you against dangerous websites, downloads, and extensions. You’ll still get Safe Browsing protection, where available, in other Google services, like Gmail and Search.

Sorry to hear that you removed the Forecastbar. It was one of the things I loved about the app. I could just glance at it without having to move my house to see what was going on. May I ask why you removed that option?

This was breaking many websites, including VirusTotal.
I might bring back Forecastbar in future versions when I find a solution that works for everyone, including the moderators.

I won't be updating until the forecastbar is back. Since there was an option in the program to disable it, I still don't understand why you removed it. Just have the toolbar set to not appear as the default, and those of us who like it, can turn it on ourselves.

It seems this version solves the problem of adding new locations. Great!
But it seems to be displaying the day number incorrectly, since despite showing Friday's information it is displaying 6-11 instead of 7-11:

Hi,
I have been using the forecastfox for many years and I had it displayed at the bottom of the browsers like Waterfox and Firefox. Now I can just about get it to display a temperature at the bottom of Waterfox but not Firefox.
I am missing it!!!
Can this display in the statusbar be reinstated please.
