unable to add new location in firefox

Attempting to add another location to firefox, but it just continues to hang up. Have restarted and updated the browser, uninstalled and reinstalled the extension and disabled other extensions.  Was able to add a new location in Chrome with no issue.
Any ideas? ty

Same here, can't add locations, just hangs. Firefox on Win10.

Not so, for me: Linux (Debian 12) w/Chromium (Chrome) and Firefox browsers. Adding new locations works fine.

I am running FireFox 120.0.1 under Fedora Linux 37 and cannot add my location.  Is there any work-around for this?  Can I edit some config file somewhere?

Hi everybaody,

same problem for me, cannot change the location under Zori OS 17 (beta) and under Ubuntu 22.04.3 LTS since Firfefox 120.0.1 (64-Bit), Mozilla Firefox Flatpak (mozilla-flatpak-1.0)!

Under  Zorin 16.3 no  problem under the same constellation!

Also unable to add a new location in Firefox.  Version 121.0 (64-bit) for Windows 11.  When I go to add new location, I get an error reading " Oops! Something went wrong.

This page didn't load Google Maps correctly. See the JavaScript console for technical details." (I don't know that I even have a JS console on my current computer).

Yep, same here. Unable to add a new location.

The console shows the following JavaScript error when trying to load Google Maps:

RefererNotAllowedMapError https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/error-messages#referer-not-allowed-map-error

 

I don't know if that is the actual problem or not, but is happening when you click to add a new location.
