Fix Forecastfox Radar

There have been enough posts on the problem of Forecastfox Radar not updating properly!!
How about fixing the problem?!! It's very annoying, and undercuts the value of an otherwise nice tool.

I don't think the problem with the radar display not working on some installations is necessarily with Forecast Fox.  I've used it all over the US and have never had a problem with the radar not updating correctly.  It may be a problem with the radar source at AccuWeather for certain locations.  If so, it's likely that there is nothing that the author can do to fix it.

I just wrote to Accuweather complaining about the 3 day old radar Forecastfox is showing me. Does anyone know for sure if this is an Accuweather problem or a Forecastfox problem?

Its not an Accureather problem it is a Forecastfox problem and its been around for months / dare I say year(s).  I use an animated Wunderground radar image and the only way I can get it to refresh is to close and reopen FF, it is the same with the animated Accuweather radar image as well.

As far back as I can remember this has been an issue for animated radar images, in fairness I should mention I came from forecast bar enhanced where updating worked flawlessly.  Since the switch the radar has been hit or miss on updates.

This can't possibly be anything other than a Forecastfox problem. When I click the radar icon to view the actual page, I get the current radar image with no issues, but when I hover over the icon it's always the same six frames from the first time I hovered over it in the session.

I've posted a better answer on the "Radar Not Updating" thread, but it seems to be a Forecastfox problem with the latest Firefox version (21.0).
