to FordBDC
We are currently looking into revamping our internet/bdc. We have a
successful dept. now but we want to be better. Can anyone answer these
questions?
How many leads do you issue each internet specialist or salesperson
per month.
Do you use BDC/Internet specialist or do you use salespeople that are
top performers.
Who prices the internet requests?
Any payplan ideas. What does your dealership use?
If you were to put a flowchart together, what would it look like from
the time the request comes in to your internet department?

to FordBDC
1. Our Internet BDC Coordinator takes all the leads, which are about
100 per month plus our BDC takes all phone calls.
2. Our BDC does it all until the appointment comes into the
dealership.
3. We have a set price for new vehicles (1.5% to 3% over invoice
depending on unit) and our preowned manager prices all used vehicles.
4. $10 per appointment kept, $10 per sale
5. Autoresponse - personalized email and phone call - appointment set
- (all by BDC Rep) - customer comes in and speaks to sales manager -
sales manager talks to customer and turns to salesperson.
