Hi,
After clicking on "login" from the workbench home page, I get the
error:

Notice: Use of undefined constant SOAP_COMPRESSION_ACCEPT - assumed
'SOAP_COMPRESSION_ACCEPT' in C:\Program Files (x86)\EasyPHP-5.3.6.0\www
\workbench\soapclient\SforceBaseClient.php on line 108
Notice: Use of undefined constant SOAP_COMPRESSION_GZIP - assumed
'SOAP_COMPRESSION_GZIP' in C:\Program Files (x86)\EasyPHP-5.3.6.0\www
\workbench\soapclient\SforceBaseClient.php on line 108
Fatal error: Class 'SoapClient' not found in C:\Program Files
(x86)\EasyPHP-5.3.6.0\www\workbench\soapclient\SforceBaseClient.php on
line 121

which was resolved by a user by using EasyPHP, see
http://groups.google.com/group/forceworkbench/browse_thread/thread/5e2e94b83e3a3c9e/
.

However, I _am_ using EasyPhp 5.3.6.0 already.. Note that I had tried
the WAMP from the Uniform Server (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/
The_Uniform_Server) and had not even a luck in opening the localhost
page with it.

Also, I'm on Windows 7 x64, and googling "WAMP windows 7 64" shows
many posts of people having issues with WAMP in general, so I wonder
if that is the problem?

Did anyone make the workbench work on windows 7 x64, and if so, which
WAMP did you use?
Thank you!

I have an installation on my Windows 7 laptop, and I did it just with
the standard Apache and PHP windows installers, which I've actually
found easier than WAMP packages.

First install "Win32 Binary including OpenSSL 0.9.8r (MSI Installer)"
at http://httpd.apache.org/download.cgi. Then install PHP 5.3 at
http://windows.php.net/download/. Make sure you include SOAP and cURL
extensions during installation. Can you give that a try?

If you're looking for easy to install stack I'd try XAMPP. I use
XAMPP to locally host workbench and develop in Vista x64. cURL has to
be enabled in the php.ini, or at least in my edition it is, but that
is as simple as removing the semi-colon commenting the line out.

Thank you very much Ryan, it finally worked well indeed. In addition
to SOAP and CURL, I also included OpenSSL as it's mentioned in
http://wiki.developerforce.com/index.php/Workbench#Support .
