JOB DESCRIPTION
* Responsible for overall management of security operations at all office locations in India & direct responsibility of controlling the security operations at all locations in Bangalore and Goa.
* Maintains a safe and secure environment for employees & company assets by establishing and enforcing security policies and procedures with effective supervising of the security guard force.
* Responsible for planning, developing and implementing security plans, security programs such as Emergency Response and Crisis Management, Emergency evacuation drills, Physical Security, Information Protection, Incident Management and/or Investigation.
* Maintains knowledge of similar industry trends, current security issues and security technology and update management on risk and threat that could impact company business.
* Responsible for providing leadership, advice and counsel to line management on security policy and practices. Identifies exposures and to recommend and develop corrective plans as appropriate.
* Provides advice and counsel to management on the expenditures of resources for protection of company assets where compromise or loss of these assets could seriously affect company business.
* Provides leadership, advice and counsel to all security staff in achieving current and long range strategic program objectives
* Responsible to conduct incident analysis and sensitive investigations involving company personnel & assets. Coordination with local police if need arises.
* Preparation of Daily reports/ MIS reports pertaining to Security operations at all sites.
* Ensure all types of agreements are in place for all security related functions like manpower, security/safety equipments and track for timely renewal.
* Ensure all compliance requirements of Vendors in coordination with HR and legal department. Ensure governance to local regulations and review periodical and submit report of compliance and deviation.
* Responsible for implementing training schedules/ emergency drills as per the company requirements & all security audits
* Responsible to coordinate with facility project team for an effective planning of security & safety systems in any new facility.
* Review of Bills for service and cost, analysis, cost control.
* Manage outsourced contracts and Manpower
* Back ground verification of all facilities vendors" staff and surveillance on their conduct during their deployment
* Relationship Management with internal & external customers
* Effective management of all BMS systems across locations in coordination with technical facilities leads
Key Result Areas:
* Preparation and implementation of SOPs and processes across all locations relating to security of employees and assets
* Ensure safety & security of employees & company assets
* Effective analysis & investigation of incidents
* Effective implementation of all security audits observations
* Vendor compliance as per the guidelines
* Effective implementation of all security plans/ programs
* Effective coordination with facility project team for planning & implementation of security & safety systems in a facility.
Experience:
10-12 years of hard core experience in handling the security operations in hotel industry/ IT/ ITES companies & good hands on knowledge in security process
Qualification:
Graduate in any discipline.
Ex-servicemen with relative experience will be an added advantage
