Requirement / Candidate profile
· Demonstrated previous experience of 3-4 years in sales/logistics in a B2B setup, preferably a chemicals company.
· MBA/Diploma in Management Studies. A Degree in marketing will be added advantage
· Hands on experience in planning, inventory management, inbound & outbound logistics, third party rating, etc.
Experience in SAP. Working knowledge of IT
Key Objective of Position – Mainly responsible for coordinating Sales, Logistics and Planning activities of CS2 project in India, in consultation with Sales Manager.
Principal accountabilities
· Logistics Support – Execute logistics operations w.r.t. CS2 local sales and exports; Liaise with selected partners for inland transport; regularly report effectiveness of logistics set-up and improve; strictly monitor HSE&S guidelines and execute emergency response to meet possible contingencies, assist in sales through distribution channel in cities, etc. Maintain communication with customers, SM & CSR, liaise with Plant (UPL) logistics department for better coordination; assist in compliance, legal and taxation matters pertaining to CS2 sale in India; inventory control; etc.
· Customer Support – Respond to customers sales inquiries, assist SM in converting prospective customers, update SM about competition information gathered from customer interaction, update customer database regularly, etc. Liaise with customers for deliveries, collection of empty containers, Assist in enhancing customer satisfaction, suggest improvement measures, etc.
Functional Responsibilities/Network
· For Logistics & HSE&S responsibilities - Report to Supply Chain function, India
· For Technical Support services – sBU Sulfur Derivatives Technical team, Cologne, Germany
