Hi

get this error message when running force-level2 (3.1.1)

CPLCreateJoinableThread() failed.
CPLCreateJoinableThread() failed.
CPLCreateJoinableThread() failed.

ETA: 6603s Left: 646 AVG: 10.22s  local:56/528/100%/10.3s CPLCreateJoinableThread() failed.

Processing progresses and output is produced. To be ignored?

Hmm, 

I've never seen this error message. CPL indicates that it is coming from GDAL. There appears to be some issue with creating threads. Did you use more processes / threads than your system can support?

Do the outputs look okay? With GDAL, it is hard to tell if an error message is critical or rather a warning..
