Appalachian food traditions

Ethnobiologist Gary Nabhan will give the lecture “Appalachian Food Traditions: Rare and Endangered Food Plants and Animals of Southern Appalachia” on Feb. 26. Nabhan’s talk, free and open to the public, begins at 7:30 p.m. in Canon Lounge. Nabhan will present the results of new research on the native food species of the Southern Appalachians.
