pointed his pistol back toward Juliette and him. Bond quickly pulled
her down
and started to throw his own body on top of hers. There was a "pfffft"
sound as
a bullet dug into a counter behind them.

American Senator, two beautiful seductresses, the People's Republic of
China,
and a twenty-year-old mystery. 1973 finds James Bond enmeshed on the
field of a
battle fought by those skilled in The Art of Cold War.
