Between now and then, I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving, then think about GIVING.

As part of our "Turkey Trot", we ask all of our dancers to shop for items for children and teens.  Start shopping now, and please bring these new, unwrapped items to the dance on November 25th.

What to shop for?  Toys, makeup, books, socks, underwear, slippers, anything kids would like or need.  These items will be part of the YWCA's Santa's Workshop.  This is where people living in our homeless shelters will come and "shop" for Christmas gifts for their children.  FOOTMAD dancers have always been very generous in their contributions to this project.  If you don't want to shop, but do want to help, you can write a check payable to YWCA, Santa's Workshop and bring it to the dance that evening.

This year there are two other items the YW is asking for:
    1.  $20 gift cards to Target, Ross Dress for Less, TJ Max or other stores teens shop.  These will be given to the older children.
    2.  Used or new standing 4x6 and 5x7 frames.  Local photographers will be taking family portraits, and the Mom's can choose a photo frame.

We also suggest that you bring your leftover Thanksgiving food to the dance - to get it out of your fridge and into the bellies of hungry dancers!

So now, about the DANCE,

We will be dancing to the fabulous music of the
HERB TROTMAN BAND,
with calling by
Beadle!

All happening on Saturday, November 25th at the Birmingham YWCA.

Need I say more?

Please bring your family and friends to this dance of sharing!

And start thinking about our fabulous NYE dance!  That, of course is on Sunday, December 31st!
