We are very fortunate to have the fine musicians of FLYING JENNY
playing for us this Saturday. This high energy old-time band is made up of Jim Cauthen, fiddle; Charlie Hunter, fiddle; Laura Vines, banjo; Joyce Cauthen, guitar and Rachel Turner, bass.
We are also so fortunate to have
Jane Ewing
driving down from Grant, AL to call for us.
Put that band with that caller and it spells a FABULOUS DANCE!
Of course, it won't happen without a few more volunteers.
We currently need 3 more people.
1 to help with setup and sit at the admission desk until 8:30pm.
1 to help with breakdown and sit at the admission desk from 8:30-9:30pm.
1 to purchase refreshments and put them out around 8:30. This person gets reimbursed for the food purchased as outlined on the volunteer sign up page.

go out to Sheriff Keith Gugliotto and his Sweetie Kalin Anastasia who brought their precious twins into the world on January 17th. Hopefully Athena and Ares will be attending a dance sometime in the near future!
We had a wonderful time at the Georgy Alabam Square Dance Weekend, next dance weekend for us will be MENTONE on August 17-19, 2018.
