Great Dance this Saturday Night!

It's time for a contra, and we've got another wonderful time planned for you and your friends!
We will be dancing to the tunes of Renewable Energy with calling by Doug Singleton. These folks will have you smiling from ear to ear as you dance around the floor. This Atlanta band makes beautiful, bubbly dance music with fiddle by Ann Whitley, concertina by David Marcus, and keyboard by Robbin Marcus. They have a classic New England contra dance style that is such fun to dance to and they coordinate their tune choices with Doug Singleton with delightful results.
So, show up at 7:30pm if you want a contra lesson (at no additional charge), and then dance with us from 8pm - 11pm. Bring someone NEW to the dance. They will get a coupon for a FREE DANCE to use on their second visit. We sure would love to share Contra with you and all of your buds...
The dance price is $10 ($8 for students and members).
Bring a water-receptacle with you (to help us save on paper cups...)
Please contact me if you can be on my Dance Set-up List or Dance Host List.

If so, either pay up at the dance or just follow these easy instructions: Send a check payable to Birmingham FOOTMAD for $15 ($20 for a family) to 1224 30th Street South, Birmingham, AL 35205. Please be sure to included your name, address, phone number and e-mail address with your check.
