COME DANCE TO THE MUSIC OF

this Saturday Evening at the Birmingham YWCA!
This will be a fun dance is so many ways! All coming over from Atlanta, Mick and his band play great old-time ragtime tunes (you know them as our late night band at MENTONE), and Janet is a fabulous caller!
Beginners/Newbies should arrive at 7pm for some quick instruction, Music and Dance is from 7:30-10:30pm
If your BIRTHDAY is in April, we have a special treat for you!
We urge you all to bring a reusable water bottle. We provide the water, but would rather not have to waste paper cups.
We also urge you to wear comfortable clothing and shoes that stay on your feet!

THURSDAY, April 25th, We will be participating in a Hayden Community Dance at Hayden High School. Amy Seiber (Art Teacher at HHS and Footmad Dancer) has organized this with major assistance from Naomi Anderegg and Charlie Hunter. Price: $2 for Adults, Free for Students. (They’re calling it a barn dance) It’ll be at
Hayden High school. We hope you will
come out to raise the level of dance knowledge for folks in the area. Amy's students’ art will be
hanging in the halls for their student art show is that evening too! The address is 125 Atwood Road, Hayden, AL. Not too far from I-65. Many of us did this a few years ago, and it was tons of fun.
SATURDAY, APRIL 28th, is our next FOOTMAD CONTRA. We will be dancing to the tunes of Whistling Rufus with calling by Doug Singleton.
SUNDAY, APRIL 29th, we will be dancing at Birmingham's Magic City Art Connection. We dance from 2:25 - 3:10pm, but please get there earlier. You will have to pay the $5 admission fee for the festival. We will be on the Backyard Production Stage. Artists come from all over to participate in this festival. http://www.magiccityart.com/
FRIDAY, MAY 25th, is the first day of Atlanta's Butterfly Whirl Dance Weekend. 4 days of dancing! Register before May 7 for a discount.

FRIDAY, AUGUST 17th, is the first day of OUR MENTONE MONSTER MASH Dance Weekend. 3 incredible days of dancing. Registration will begin SOON!
