oh boy oh boy! Time for a FOOTMAD CONTRA!

After a long dry spell, we will be DANCING this SATURDAY NIGHT!

~There will be Great Tunes played by one of our favorite bands, THE HERB TROTMAN BAND,
and there will be great dancing by us, thanks to the creative calling by one of our favorite callers, VICKI HERNDON.  

Mr. Banjo (Herb Trotman) will bring together an all-star cast of musicians as he always does.  Keep your eyes peeled for his lovely wife Kathy Hinkle on bass, lovely Gaithel Runnels on fiddle and lovely Jason Bailey on mandolin.  Who knows (besides lovely Herb) who-else will be playing... Lovely Vicki Herndon will be driving down from Chattanooga for our dance.  Always a pleasure!

As usual, the beginner session (no extra charge) is at 7:30pm followed by wonderful dancing from 8pm-11pm.  The beginner session is a great time for those new to contra (or wanting to learn more) to learn.  More info can be found at our website:  www.FOOTMADbirmingham.org

Bring your friends - bring your relatives - bring your own reusable cup/bottle for water.   FUN - FUN - Fun!

~While I've got your attention, please grab your calendar and see if you are available to HOST one of the following 3 dances.  If you can, please reply to this email and let me know which dance works for you!  We need you!  We need some other hosts in the months of Sept-December, but I will let you know about those later.
