South Bay Preschool Seeking Substitute Teachers

Almaden Parents’ Pre-School is a parent participation (co-op) preschool and a Positive Discipline Lab School with a 50+ year history. We are seeking committed substitute teachers for all classes! 

Class times and ages:

• Parent & Me / Early Explorers: Monday-Thursday, 2:30pm-3:30pm (ages 12 months- 2 ½)

• 2-day: Tues/Thurs: 9am-11:30am (ages 2 - 5)

• 3-day: Mon/Wed/Fri: 9am-11:30am (ages 2 - 5)

• 5-day: Mon through Fri: 09:30-12:30pm (ages 3 - 5)

Requirements:

• CPR and First Aid Certification (including infant and child)

• Fingerprint clearance - community care licensing

• 18 Semester Units (minimum) in Early Childhood Education (ECE). MUST include the following:

1. Supervision and Administration I: Center Management

2. Supervision and Administration II: People and Processes

3. Core Child Development

4. Child, Family, and Community

5. Curriculum

• Adhere to all safety, fire codes, licensing regulations (per State of California guidelines)

Pay: From $90.00 per shift
