Part-time music teacher for Family Music Together Classes

My name is Lizz Weihrauch, and I am the local Center Director with Music Together, a globally recognized early childhood music and movement program. We are currently looking for enthusiastic and talented individuals to join our team as Music Together teachers in Santa Cruz and Santa Clara counties, and I am reaching out to ask for your help in sharing this opportunity with your students. 

We are seeking candidates with a background in at least one of the following fields: early childhood education, music, or theater studies, along with relevant experience. This part-time position offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young children and families through joyful, research-based music and movement experiences.

Our teachers lead two types of programs: 

 

1. Music Together Mixed-Age Family Classes – Parent-child classes that bring families together to share the joy of music-making.
2. Music Together In School Program – Collaborative sessions with preschools and K-2 graders in their classrooms to support children’s development through music.

Ideal candidates are passionate about working with children and families, committed to fostering community through music and planning to stay in the area long-term. Comprehensive training is required, with ongoing support provided, making this an excellent opportunity for students or recent graduates eager to apply their skills in a dynamic and rewarding environment.
