I just created a Foothill ACM Jobs List as well as a Foothill ACM Chat
List. In addition, I have changed the settings so that the officer's
list is more accessible. If you have a job posting, please post in in
the jobs list. ACM minutes should be posted in the ACM officers
list. This list is open to anyone who take the trouble to subscribe
to it.

Randal,

Why have you waited until now to open the officers list up to everyone?  Is it because we have already decided to deactivate it as a Foothill ACM forum?  Are you ready to have some civilized discussions now?

Randal,

The "Jobs List" looks like a great idea.  Perhaps all lists associated with Foothill ACM should be open to all Foothill Students?  What do you think?

These lists have always been open to all students.  Not all lists are open to faculty.

Please move your discussions to the officer list.

Just a little suggestion as a normal Foothill student and Google group
user: Is that more convenience to keep all the messages in one Group
instead of multiple Google Group? I have subscribed groups that use
square bracket ( [JOBS] ) on the message title to identify Jobs
messages. Can we do something similar like "heading labeling" so as a
user, we don't need to subscribe multiple Google group to review the
messages that are generating from the same group.

Thanks.

Hi Kenneth.

That sounds reasonable to me.  Great idea!   Why don't you come to our next meeting?  The more the merrier!  I can't make the next one on May 5th, but I should be available for the one after that.  I would look forward to meeting you sometime.

Peace,

Hello Kenneth:

Please be patient.  I will talk to Eric about putting all four links in one spot on the homepage and also take some feedback from people.
