which page were you on? I'm not seeing how you're losing a config, if you type a name for the config and hit Save Profile, it should save. Is it not saving for you?

I made a change with the one profile I had remaining, and switched to another section in D7 and then my other profile showed up.

I think I know what is confusing you. The profiles are for each section of D7, not for all of them together.

Umm, please see above. I have no idea what you mean, there is no section of Full Auto mode that allows you to save a profile!
