Does anyone have any idea how to make BulletProof FTP Server 2010 for Windows run as a windows service on Windows 7 Professional 64bit? I can get it to run as a service and can start and stop the service using this information (http://www.vbrad.com/article.aspx?id=92 , http://www.geekadmin.com/?p=27 .) but the program does not actually start. The service dose, but not the program does not. I was thinking it was an UAC issue, I turned that off with no luck.  I thought I would ask in case someone happens to be using it. Thanks!

I know it's not the answer you were asking for but you could try FileZilla.  Their client works on 64bit and it's free.

Thanks Frank. I did try FileZilla Server before I decided to use BPFTP, but really can’t remember why I decided on BPFTP instead. I do use the FileZilla client though. Maybe it’s time to look at FileZilla server again. Although, I’ve been using it without running as a service for a long time and it really hasn’t been bothersome. I just got the bug to make it run as a service and don’t like to be defeated by something that I’m pretty sure can be done. J
