Seed Talent program for research grants - 2024 call (University of Tuscia, Viterbo - Italy)

Dear all, 

I am writing to inform you that there is still time to apply for the Seed Talent initiative at University of Tuscia (Viterbo - Italy) aimed at recruiting postdoc fellows.

Within the University programme "Seed talent @ Unitus Grants" , a call has recently been issued aimed at recruiting 10 post-doc researchers for temporary contracts of 1 year.

The programme is aimed at young PhDs who would like to gain experience in Italy and work at our university as research fellows. The project could be even in the Social Sciences and Humanities fields Life Sciences, Physical Sciences and Engineering, . 

The call is based on a project and - to be structured strictly referring to the format indicated by the call for proposals - in the application you can indicate the department of interest and the scientific coordinator with whom you would like to work at the university.

 

I am available to be the scientific coordinator of candidates with statistical and computational background and on projects dealing with topics related to sustainable food management, circular economy, food waste and economic access to food (food poverty and food insecurity) and specifically addressing these issues from quantitative and statistical perspectives.  

It is important to note that applicants must present IELTS for Academic Purposes exam certification (with individual section scores for reading, writing, listening, and speaking of 7.0 or higher, or TOEFL iBT (with a minimum score of 90 points) for English by the deadline for applications.

The yearly gross amount of the fellowship will be 30.000,00 Euro. The amount includes expenses for industrial accident insurance and public liability insurance as well as social security contributions required by law to be paid by the University. 

The deadline for applications is 9 September 2024.
