I wanted to share an academic article that I wrote with Dr. Kate Parizeau, Maggie Bain, Ece Ikiz, and members of Circular Innovation Council, a not-for-profit organization. This paper details the results from the first year of a pilot project to divert industrial, commercial, and institutional food and organic waste from the landfill in Guelph and Wellington County, Canada. This pilot project was led by Circular Innovation Council and supported by Dr. Kate Parizeau’s research lab at the University of Guelph.
