I would like to share two recent publications with you, both related to sustainability, agri-food systems, and consumer behaviour.
The first article with Professor Prokopis Theodoridis, published in Humanities and Social Sciences Communications, is entitled “The role of knowledge and attitudes in consumers’ food waste behavior: an exploratory structural model.” It examines how environmental knowledge, food waste knowledge, and attitudes shape food-waste-related consumer behaviours. The study is based on a sample of 1,021 consumers in Greece and applies structural equation modeling.
The second article with Ginevra Coletti, Konstantinos Dellis & Phoebe Koundouri, published in npj Sustainable Agriculture, is entitled “Reducing post-harvest food losses as a pathway towards net-zero agriculture: socioeconomic and environmental insights from FABLE modeling.” It explores how reducing post-harvest food losses can contribute to more sustainable agri-food systems. Using FABLE modeling, the study highlights the potential environmental and socioeconomic effects of different post-harvest loss reduction scenarios.
Please find both articles attached, in case they are of interest.
