I hope this email finds everyone doing extremely well. My organization has been building a mobile food pantry using mostly recycled goods from grocers and produce distributors. As such, most of our waste is food that cannot be donated and recyclables. We don’t have enough space for a recycle bin and a dumpster at our tiny urban warehouse, so right now we are trashing EVERYTHING. We are going to trade our dumpster for a large recycle dumpster and have the farmers to pick up the 'trashed' foods, but we don’t have the containers to safely store the food outside until the farmer can pick up twice a week. Do you have any suggestions for good containers that are seal-tight and not too large that 1-2 individuals could empty?
Thanks so much for all you do!
