In response to the mail below from Mr. Jassem regarding HACCP Certified suppliers in the Central Fruit & Veg. Market, Al Aweer, Dubai, we would like to inform all that Barakat Vegetables and Fruits Co. LLC at Al Aweer is both HACCP and ISO 9001:2000 certified. We were the first to be certified to both standards in the given industry across the region.
Considering that we suppliers in the market are mutual clients too, as part of our standard supplier evaluation protocol, we would also like to know whether there are any other certified suppliers in the market.

It was nice to visit your company with the Japanese delegates last
month and see the very high standard level of performing and hygiene
standard, we hope you keep it up.
It was really great example to show people from outside UAE the high
level of hygiene and food safety standards that have been applied in
Dubai Food establishments.
