Hello Food Safers,

Greetings for the day!

This email is to bring to your notice, the upcoming Middle East Health & Safety Forum taking place on the 6th & 7th of September 2015 at the Habtoor Grand Beach Resort, Dubai UAE. The event will address and focus on key challenges and solutions in terms of Health and Safety across Construction, Oil & Gas, Marine and Food Industries. Since Food is of prime importance, we have a specific section for the Health and Safety in the Food Industry to be addressed at this event. 

The event is spear headed by the Health & Safety Departments at Dubai & Abu Dhabi Municipalities along with other associations like IOSH, CIEH and IIRSM. This 2 day event will revolve around 12 different workshops catering to specific topics in specific industries and Food being on the top of the list. Mr. Christian Hopper from Chartered Institute of Environmental Health ( CIEH ) UK will be conducting this workshop addressing:
  • Enforcing Food Safety management procedures and Food Hygiene regulations in local food retail premises
  • Hygiene requirements for Food machinery
  • Training for Food handlers
  • Food law code of practice
  • Regulations on Food labelling, providing clear allergen ingredients information

This post is to inform you off the latest update on the upcoming Middle East Health & Safety Forum taking place on the 6th & 7th of September 2015 at the Habtoor Grand Beach Resort, Dubai UAE. 

We now have Dr. Ali Salem Al Qaiwani  from the MINISTRY OF LABOUR UAE giving the Keynote Speech at the event on HSE Best Practices at the event. We welcome him aboard and appreciate his support for the event.
