Dear All,

I have a concern regarding with food storage in Chilled van, If we are keeping food inside the cam bro box and for what purpose we want to maintain van chiller temperature for food dispatching from one location to another.

Hello

That's a good question. According to my opinion we are keeping chilled food in chiller van to maintain the temperature (0 to 5 degree celsius) of food from storage area to delivery point. if there is any temperature drop found in between storage to loading point due to mishandling or others then we can get the chilled temperature in chiller vehicle. you can use cam bro boxes only for short delivery point otherwise risk will be higher. for the safest level or zero risk assessment we should keep chilled food in chiller van during delivery.

Piyush,
I am not sure why the food is stored in an 'insulated' container inside the chilled vehicle.
That doesn’t make sense.

Dear Samira,

Technically we can use insulated boxes in normal vehicle if the temperature of food is below 4 degree Celsius for short deliveries.

Dear Sir,

There is no need to stored the food in insulated box inside the chiller vehicle but for short deliveries insulated box can use in normal vehicle if the temperature of food is below 4 degree Celsius. the aim is only to maintain the chiller temperature during transportation.

Thanks & Regards
Piyush
