Food Handler Medical Fitness

Hi All,

Is there any specific criteria for food handler medical Fitness / Vaccination program / health care guidelines in Abu Dhabi or in UAE?

Abu Dhabi has not mandated testing for food handlers.

In Dubai, it's mandated for all food handlers. Refer to the Food Code.

However, note that sickness reporting systems and exclusion policy are more important from a food safety perspective.

Dear Bobby sir, 

                          In abu dhabi , we dont hav any special medical examination for the food handlers.but it is mandatory to keep the medical certificate in the particular section.(which they are getting while at the visa medical test)
