Dear Food Safers, Please inform all drinking water manufacturers and suppliers that ESMA is now accepting applications for Emirates Quality Mark certification. UAE/Emirati Owned Factories will be given 50% discount upon submission of customs exemptions on duties. For food premises, hotels and restaurants, kindly ensure as well that the drinking water in your establishments are complying with the UAE standards and are certified by ESMA to avoid legal actions and penalties. If you have more clarification on the certification scheme, please let me know so that I could assist you on this matter.
