The accused told us that apart from selling synthetic milk in local market, they sold spurious products to private companies and neighbouring Bhind district," Sharma said. A team officials comprising revenue, police and food departments raided factory premises in Bamhor town of the district on Tuesday evening. "The fake unit produced around 4,000-5,000 litres of milk every day.A case of food adulteration was registered under section 420 (fraud) of the IPC is registered against three people. "Two drums of chemicals, 50 bags of glucose, hundreds of boxes of liquid detergent, several containers of refined oils and chemicals were seized from the spot," SDM Bamhor Pradeep Sharma told TOI.
