Here's information about the  FOOD BUSINESS INCUBATOR program being offered by Now We're Cookin' in Evanston.   This is taken from the press release (see attached).

Now We’re Cookin’, a culinary center in Evanston, is rolling out a Food Business Incubator program in January 2013 with assistance from a City of Evanston grant. The overall program, which combines mentorships, training, seminars, and access to resources in a broad food community, is designed to assist food entrepreneurs in accelerating their path to business success.  NWC's commercial kitchens are home to small culinary enterprises – caterers, bakers, specialty food producers, personal chefs.  They also host corporate events, private parties, and cooking classes.

Program consists of:

Introduction to Entrepreneurship seminar on January 14, 2013 at 6:00 PM  -   $50

Food Business 101 series starting on January 29, 2013 at 6:00 PM  -   $500 for 4 sessions

The website is a little hard to navigate, but here's the "event" page where you can find some additional detail about the two parts of the curriculum:     http://www.brownpapertickets.com/producer/23728

Applications for the first class are now being accepted;  interviews are required for the 4-week session.

For details contact:   Now We’re Cookin’ at (847)-570-4140 or in...@nwcookin.com

Presumably Allison Forrer, the incubator manager,  is the person who can answer questions.

Now We're Cookin' is located in north Evanston (near Green Bay and McCormick).   Unfortunately, it is not very convenient to public transportation, especially at night.   But there is plenty of parking and it's a very cool, beautiful space  (filmmakers love to film in the NWC facility).
