We're using a HP m127fw laser multifunction printer. Drivers were properly installed. When we send a print job, the print job queue windows appears in the task bar but is empty. I tried uninstalling the driver, cleaning the registry (removed every folders/keys in relation with HP products) and all, can't fix my issue. When i launch HP Doctor to find the problem it says that there is none and can print a test page through it !!

To fix this issue you have to change the user access rights to your TEMP folder located in X:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Local\ and set it to Authorize to all users. To do so, simply right click the Temp folder, go to the security tab, select each Name of groups or users (Authenticated Users, System, Administrators, Users), click Modify and set them to Total control (Sorry, i'm actually not sure of the english term); Apply, reboot and PRINT !!!

What's strange is that the printer works really well through HPs applications ! I unistalled the driver and let Windows installed it to see what will happen and still doesn't work; But Windows installed an App (HP AiO Printer Remote) and i'm able to clean and do all the maintenance stuff from it ! I just tried it from my laptop also (Alienware 17 R2 running Windows 10) and it doesn't work neither

Computer have been formated, reinstalled on Windows 10 and still doesn't work I found a firmware update on the website while downloading the driver, which i also installed. Nothing to do... I'm out of ideas.

In the printer settings i changed the driver to HP fax driver; when i print something, at least it shows up in the queue list, which remains empty when using the printer driver. But still doesn't print.

Need to know the steps to scan on my hp laser jet pro mfp m127fw printer. I am using windows 10 on my pc if that makes any difference. If this machine will scan I don't have to by a new printer. Help! Thanks!!!

my unit is HPlaserjet pro MFP M127fw connected to my WINDOWS 8.1 in Desktop PC, before already used it for scan then after one week i use it again then i can no longer used it for scan but i can do printing. I trouble shoot it but failed, then i decide to uninstall then reinstall bit i can no longer scan, but in test print it will do. i think the problem was the unit was not found. I also try tha PRINT and SCAN DOCTOR BUT it always diplays every thing is ok an show me green TIK

does HP m127fw allows scanning directly to email? I checked videos, and it suggests to turn it on with direct connection to printer. I connect to 10.0.1.9, but under System tab, I don't see any Administration like in video.

Ok, so now I somehow came to HP ePrint Center without using cartridge (had to guess printer ID, luckily it is the same as email), that I can send it back if 'Scan to Email' feature does not work. In HP ePrint Center I was not able to find 'Scan to Email' app, then I found it through Google, and it says: Not Available for this Printer?

After upgrading from the previous Ubuntu LTS to Ubuntu 20.04 the HP MFP m127fw printer no longer prints correctly. The printer didn't have any problems printing in Ubuntu 16.04 or 18.04 and the printer installation is unchanged.

It prints a few pages then pauses and then prints a few more pages and pauses. This continnues until the end or the print pdf. The pauses are quite long, about five minutes. Some pages only have about 3 columns of print in the wrong format.

I'm using this printer on a network set up as a network printer with a static IP from the router via ethernet. Printer installation looks okay and the printer options can all be accessed...queues, print options etc.
