For those of you who attended yesterday's Garlic smell-o-vision, we had fun seeing you! Big thanks to Rendezvous Restaurant's Steve Johnson for the commentary and the heavenly combo of roasted garlic purée on Iggy's bread. Now, for Strange Brew, please note that we will be at a new location: consult our handy map of venues

Monday, April 19, 7pm: STRANGE BREW: The Adventures of Bob & Doug McKenzie (Rick Moranis & Dave Thomas, 1983)
Free admission. Appropriate fermented beverages (perhaps supplied by prominent local brewery) provided.
Pfizer Lecture Hall, Mallinckrodt Bldg, 12 Oxford St, north of Harvard Sq. (map)

Introduced by Larry Flint (Larry Flint and the Road Scholars) and loosely based on Shakespeare's Hamlet, Strange Brew brings us to the Elsinore Brewery in Canada, where the McKenzie brothers inspect beer bottles for mice and try to keep the Brewmeister from taking over the world. An intoxicating mix of slapstick and high drama. For more information, see IMDB.
