What do you do when your ice cream truck is ambushed? Alan 'Dickey' Bird is a popular Glasgow radio personality who seems to have the world on a string -- until his kleptomaniac girlfriend, Maddy, walks out on him the week before Christmas. Depressed and lonely, Alan tries to find meaning in his empty life and gets embroiled in a cold war between two feuding Italian ice cream families.
