Monday, April 5, 7pm: THE CHEESE NUN (PBS, 2001)
Free admission to film screening. 
Cheese tasting to follow, led by Ihsan Gurdal; a $5 donation is requested for the tasting.
William James Hall 105, 33 Kirkland St, north of Harvard Sq. (map)

Featuring panelists Rachel Dutton (Harvard Med. School), Ihsan Gurdal (Formaggio Kitchen), and Heather Paxson (MIT).

An entertaining documentary about an American nun with a Ph.D. in biochemistry and a Fulbright Scholarship that sends her to France to study the microbiology of cheeses.

Food at 24fps is a semi-regular series, located in Cambridge, MA, screening classic and/or obscure films about food. Food meisters, chefs, and other generally interesting people who enjoy the pleasures of the table introduce each film.
