Attached you will find the informational flyer about two Community Building Workshops being held on Monday, October 30 and Monday, November 6 from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. at St. Paul United Methodist Church in Independence, Missouri.
These workshops are meant to inform and empower leaders or activists who want to bring change and improvement to their neighborhood to improve the health and safety of children.
For example, do you wish there were more public playgrounds in our neighborhoods? Wouldn't it be great to have a community center near to us? How about a Kid's Bike Club or Hiking Club? Wouldn't it be nice to have a local farmers' market in our neighborhood? How about more community gardens or nutrition classes for kids? Get the idea?
Hope you will consider attending these workshops to make a difference in your neighborhood. "Be the change you want to see."
