Join your classmates in volunteer service by signing up for the Baruch
MPA Club Team for New York Cares Day on Saturday, April 21st!

The Site:High School for Public Service Youth Farm

Located in Brooklyn, this unique farm involves much of the high school
and neighboring community. Students benefit from educational and
employment opportunities at the Farm while local residents come for
affordable and fresh vegetables and herbs. The Farm is a base for new
experiential school curriculum, serving as an outdoor classroom and a
catalyst for education from cooking and nutrition to migrant labor
rights and trade policy. Check out the Farm's website.

Date & Time: Saturday, April 21, 2012 from 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM

Directions:
High School for Public Service Youth Farm
600 Kingston Avenue
Brooklyn, NY 11203

Take the 2 or 5 train to Winthrop St. Exit and walk east on Winthrop
street . Turn left on Kingston Avenue. The farm will be on your left.

Lunch:
We will break for lunch for about an hour around 12:30. Lunch will be
provided by the generosity of the Baruch MPA Club.

Clothing:
Please wear closed-toe shoes and dress in comfortable clothing that
you wouldn’t mind possibly getting dirty.
