1. Tuesday, February 9th from 4 to 5pm:
Convergence: K.W.I.C. on Trent Radio ~ Tune in at 92.7fm
Join the Kawartha World Issues Centre, with local social justice activist, Jo Hayward Haines and special guests, as they explore and analyse issues of vital importance to our world today. Provacative discussion, great music, live and lively!
 
This week - Jo and guests will discuss prorogation and the upcoming International Dub Poetry Festival Peterborough 2010 being held in conjunction with Peterborough Black History Month.
You won't want to miss it!  Tune in the 2nd Tuesday of each  month from 4 to 5pm at 92.7 fm.


2.  Wednesday, February 10th:
Fundraising Event for Haiti at The Seasoned Spoon:

The Seasoned Spoon in partnership with the TCSA, TISA & TACSU are hosting an
all day fundraiser for Haiti relief.

11 am - 3 pm: Coffeehouse with spoken word and musical presentations by
Trent students and Peterborough community members, including Shanna Taillon,
Fancy Jasper, Sean Conway, Rob Foreman and more! Come on out, drop a twoonie
in the collection bucket and enjoy the show.

Between 5-8pm: Food served by donation  There will be an auction and raffle
with a chance to win prizes from: Ossia, Sympathy for the Rebel, the Main
Ingredient, local artists and more!
