Hi All,


Please join us for a free public screening of the documentary Farming While Black followed by a panel discussion with local farmers and activists. This award-winning feature-length documentary film examines the historical plight of Black farmers in the United States and the rising generation who are reconnecting to their Afro-Indigenous regenerative agricultural roots to heal and find strength and inspiration in the land. The documentary features Leah Penniman, author of the book with the same name and co-founder of Soul Fire Farm.  

 

Date/Time: Thursday, May 15th, 6pm
Location: OSU LINC Building, Room #210
Cost: Free!

Parking:  Nearest parking lot to the LINC building is south of the Linus Pauling Building. It is located off of SW 30th St. between SW Jefferson and SW Campus Way. There is also parking to the west of the Crop Science Building. Parking is free after 5pm.
