Hi!

I'm trying to upload my .svg image to fontello but it just becomes a white blank.
I don't understand why, I am new to vector.

Thanks in advance

Remove ALL fills (black in your case), and change contours directions. Fonts does not understand fills

The link I got (https://github.com/fontello/fontello/wiki/How-to-suggest-font-to-fontello), made me understand it better. It works now. Thx!

Hi Vitaly,
I am completely unable to make a single line appearing in fontello via Illustrator.
Could you please guide me?

I've followed tutorials from github help pages but whatever I do, it appears white in fontello.

Here is the file I've made. https://www.dropbox.com/s/ak2oc4vh65p3j57/temp.svg
I'll admit that a nice video on how to create an custom image on illustrator would be awesome for noobs like me.

Thanks in advance for your help.

You should NOT use any attributes (stroke, fill). Your example should consist of 2 circles coutours, drawn in opposite direction

External will show black filled circle, internal - transparent hole.

Hi Vitaly,

Many thanks for your reply and sorry for the late one.

I'm sorry but I don't understand what you're trying to say. Unfortunately I do not have many skills in Illustrator, therefore, I can't figure out how to create a shape without stroke or fill.
I've googled to check for some samples but I'm not sure what to target.
I'm sure you must be wondering why the heck am I trying to create custom images if I don't know how to use illustrator... Well, nowadays, we have to push ourselves. There are many icons I need from my website and my wordpress theme already uses fontello. Therefore, I'd love to be able to pick some drawings, turn them into svg fontello compatible and put them on my website.

Would you be kind enough to send me a simple "svg" or "ai" file made with illustrator so that I can see by myself and reproduce it please?
A simple circle or square or anything would be great.

Thank you very much for your help.
