Hello,

Please someone explain this note to me

/* Chrome hack: SVG is rendered more smooth in Windozze. 100% magic, uncomment if you need it. */
/* Note, that will break hinting! In other OS-es font will be not as sharp as it could be */

chrome in mac and linux will be sharp font because of this fix?

Or this fix will affect smoothness on any other operating system or devices??

Thank You :)

That means, Chrome under android will use SVG font instead of WOFF. I didn't tested quality, but SVG does not have hinting info.

This means this piece of code is only for android users who use chrome as their browser. Those users will have a smoother icon, but for the rest of Mac users they will have no hinting on the icon font. Having no hinting will make the icon have more rough corners, therefore it will be more pixeled.
Is this statement correct?

I didn't know what hinting was, here there is a very extensive site about that topic: http://alistapart.com/column/font-hinting-and-the-future-of-responsive-typography. I hope I understood it correctly.
