my wishlist and bugs

Hello Frederik,

Thanks for the great tool!!

Here is my Font constructor wishlist:

· undo

· shift+drag to maintain the object aligned while moving

· align selected objects: mainly to be able to make a center alignment among them 

· progress bar when importing UFO

· to be able to drag the element on the glyph window by clicking anywhere in the element cell (tiny elements become very difficult to select)

· ELEMENT WINDOW: to move selected points with arrow keys

· set ps contour direction

· horizontal metrics (baseline, meanline…)

Bugs report

• I've found a bug with the zoom function. When I zoom very close then it's impossible to go back to the default zoom out state. See the attachment. Note the slider bars don't allow me to go up further in the glyph window, even if I keep zooming out, even if i change glyph or delete/create new ones.

• when pasting from Illustrator (cs2) Font Constructor often looses BCP or sometimes doesn't paste at all.

great wishlist :) 

adding an undo manager is really necessary, im working on that

you can change the x-height in the font Info toolbar button, why would you change the baseline?

zooming: im planning to add a slider to assist with zooming in and out, "z" and "x" will still work

other lines than those two are missing, yet important: ascender, descender, caps height

 

zooming: im planning to add a slider to assist with zooming in and out, "z" and "x" will still work

z, x are very useful indeed!
