JamiatAhle Hadees is slowly becoming more and more popular especially among the highly educated Sunni youth , who reject all the 4 Imams of Sunni Fiqh. Therefore , the Ahle Hadees has been declared Kafir by all the Sunni aqedahs and maslaks , however Ahle Hadees still finds large scale support from Saudi Arabia and the Gulf.

Ahle Hadees are dead against any form of " Bidah and Shirk ". Infact , they do not read Tarawih , they do not cover their heads while praying , and they allow men and women to pray Namaz side by side in a common Jamaat.

Ahle Hadees has been banned in India and declared a Non-Muslim Kaffir group becoz of their refusal to accept either Sunni or Shia Fiqh , and for practices like making men and women pray side by side in a Jamaat , not doing Wazoo before Namaaz , etc.

At first , the Muslim Personal Law Board - comprising of Barelwi , Deobandi and Shia Ulema - decided that Ahle Hadees be made an outcaste for making practices " unacceptable to Islam " as not only " halaal " but " Wajib ".

Some Ahle Hadees members in retaliation to this campaign , started bombing Barelwi , Deobandi and Shia religious places , Mosques and Dargahs , they also bombed several Dawah centres belonging to Tableeghi Jamaat becoz Tableeghi had disagreed with their views. Almost 175 people were killed in this.

Their core beliefs are only one - over-emphasis on TAWHEED , and violently opposing all forms of Bidah and Shirk , like Taraweeh , Eid-e-Milad , Muharram , Chadar Sharif and Ziyarat , praising the Sahaba especially Umar ( whom they have decared a Kafir ) , wearing Topis ( caps ) while praying , wearing of Shalwar-Kameez by men , etc.

When they read the Fatihah , they place their hands on their chests , not on their stomachs ( like Sunni women ) lol , and when somebody asks them why , they say " Rasool ki Hadees hain".\

But, according to you: Ahle Hadees are dead against any form of " Bidah and Shirk ". Infact , they do not read Tarawih , they do not cover their heads while praying , and they allow men and women to pray Namaz side by side in a common Jamaat.

The only major difference I can spot between Ahl-e-hadees and other Sunnis is that the former do not believe in imitation [Taqlieed] of a fiqh scholar. They base their scholarly opinions [fataawa] on Prophetic traditions they have access to. Perhaps they are like Shia Akhbaris??

We don't follow "4 four imams," we follow the Prophet (sw) to the best of our ability. Different scholars had different methodologies of concluding what the law would be from Quran/Sunnah, but there is no issue in mixing madhab policies. However, if you believe that the Hanafi fiqh on drinks is right, you can't go mixing up the drink issues with other madhabs due to the specific methodologies that each madhab used to come to a decision.

Yes , Ahl-e-Hadees ppl might be like Shia Akhbaris as well , becasue I have seen quite a few Ahl-e-Hadees members I am friendly with , brimming with prasie for the Akhbaris , while at the same time condemning their Matam and Zanjeerzani most enthusiastically.

who are their leaders/ideologues? interesting that it's popular among highly educated young sunnis. maybe the story about co-ed salat originated because women play more influential roles in this sect than in mainstream sunnism.

Actually they do and they are nothing like Akhbaris. Their claim is not to blindly make taqleed in the old Imaams without evidence. As to making taqleed in ulema, than they do it with their own modern ulema.

Believe me, in this case, high education does not mean good IQ. I've known a highly educated useless muppet who followed this thing and worked in my office. He was very fond of debating and he was much older than I am. It was very humorous, but for me only. When I asked him for references for his wild fantastical boasts, he pulled out a small book worth 50 cents that was supposed to be a booklet that taught namaz, but it "refuted" the Shia faith in its last two pages! His lame antics made me laugh so hard he felt insulted by that. But I couldn't stop laughing. He said it was okay to think of all your daily chores and reminders during namaz because it can't be helped otherwise.

Mulana Ishaq (do a web search to view his Urdu and Punjabi lectures - available on You Tube) is close and friendly towards Shi'as - check out his videos and you'll know what i mean --- he belongs to the ahle-hadith.

these "ahle-hadees" people may be like the deobandi wahhabi nasibis in Pakistan. They are largely supported by saudi petro-dollars and violently attack the true Shi'a Muslims, traditional classical Sunnis, and Sufi Muslims in Pakistan and other parts of the Indian subcontinent. These nasibis in Pakistan rely on their evil saudi paymasters and their petro-dollars that spread nasibi wahhabism.

I beg to differ. Instead of a cruel generalization, I would say that these people are misguided on purpose by mullahs. Also there are peaceful, honest and pleasant people among these deviated sects. Its just unfortunate that they depend on "the guardians of faith" (read: mullahs) far too much to receive true guidance.

So the Mullah reigns supreme in these parts. They even take salary from the municipal authority for leading prayers in their respective mosques. They are the source of our education, then how can there be rationality or wisdom in our ways? They are the guardians and regents of Islam appointed by the ignorant masses and they have done their part well in corrupting the message.

Ahl-e-Hadees are not Deobandis , because they violently hate 2nd Caliph Umar. In fact , one of the traditions of the Ahle Hadees is to " never pronounce the name of Umar with a pleasant face ".

Ahle hadith (the people of hadith) are those who prefer prophet's sunna over what 4 imams said. As Allah said in the Holy book O you who believe! Obey Allah and obey the messenger, and render not your actions vain.(47:33) O you who have believed, do not put [yourselves] before Allah and His Messenger but fear Allah. Indeed, Allah is Hearing and Knowing.(49:1) these verses are enough to prove our path. Our Prophet offer tarawih for 3 days thats why we do.Covering head is not an obligation. side by side (men and women)

prayer is haram (prohibited) women are in separate room. And Prophet's time women are allowed to offer prayer in masjid-e-Nabvi. We are not enemies of anyone. We love our sahaba's (Abu Bakr R.A, Umer R.A, uthman R.A, Ali R.A). we hate shirk and we don't hate

First things first. In the first place the Ahl-e-Hadees are not Muslims. I have Seen these people quite closely and their behavior and lifestyle, which besides being composed of aspects of vulgar and disgusting is pretty much un-islamic, seeing them you will find no difference b/w them and their lifestyle or that of a Non Muslim. I have even seen them at pray, and they were praying in front of a swimming pool in which there were men and women both and they were enjoying themselves in the western way and in front of these bathers the Ahl-e-Khabees were deliberately praying and that too in a direction which was opposite to the Qiblah!!!...

Also Zakir Nalaiq is also Ahle Khabees and considering how these people backstab others and their characterless nature where there is no loyalty in them, I would not own these people at all. I have seen these people do the most lowest and degenerate fallen down things incapable of a decent person.

All these sort of people are of a very bad nature which is quite depressing and negative, also In my personal opinion all Wahabi sects are out side the fold of Islam. Also considering the sorry state of the muslims at present, we ultimately realize that it is these people who are responsible for it.

Some one asked Thanvi that the Husband has been away for a period of 5 yrs 1992 to 1997 and during which he did not come home even once, but the wife was at home and a "young prince" was born in the absence of the "Father" so it is regarding the legitimacy of the child, and here amazingly Thanvi says the child is the legitimate child of the Husband and the wife though they may have been apart for 1/2 a decade!!..

Clearing one point regarding my self I am staunchly anti Deobandi and consider all Wahahahbees and their sub sects to be out of the fold of Islam. I Support orthodox islam and personally call for uniting all non wahabis under an organisation called the Indian Orthodox Church, which will represent them and defend their rights. Membership is open to all non wahabis.

Any ways imagine creating a religion combining Ahle Hadees and Aga Khan and Ahmadiyaa , now this is some thing you are interested in, think how would it look like. As an example sikh is combine of Hindu and Muslim, so you get what I mean. Call it Triple A
