As many people as possible esp. from Clifton and Defence area should attend this meeting on July 22nd as we are all stakeholders in this matter. In fact the PTI members elected TO the Sindh Assembly from NA-250 and MNA Dr. Arif Alvi should also attend. More details below in this public notice.

Most of us have been extremely disturbed at the recent destruction of the environment around the Jehangir Kothari Parade by aggressive commercial interests.

The court-directed EIA (see SEPA notice below)has been prepared and can be downloaded from:

The earlier EIA for the Bahria Town Icon Tower (which is the root cause of the problem, as this building project is not viable unless the area around it is recklessly ravaged, and the adjacent Bagh-e-ibn-e-Qasim is encroached upon with subterranean parking lot for 2,500 cars and many traffic loops on the park entrance).
